The White Horse Living History Society

The White Horse are an experimental archaeological and living history society that brings back ancient crafts as accurately as possible from the period of 900A.D.E right up to 1170A.D.E.

Using traditional methods and practices that are long forgotten, they bring history back to life using displays of leather work, fishing, arms and armour, traditional cooking, textiles and embroidery. Also incorporating accurate campsites using period correct tents based off archaeological finds as well as providing combat displays using real weapons from the time to show what combat was like in the early medieval period.

A thoroughly exciting journey that allows you to step back in time and see how we once lived.
